If it was where they were from, what happens if they were taken away from there?

I also think I made this because I was angry (what else is new) at BET and a lot of famous black actors and movies. Everyone is literally stripping themselves of all the things that (I think) make them who they are, and then CONSTANTLY preaching "black pride this" "black pride that" UM GIVE ME A BREAK, MMKAY? 

I wouldn't mind so much if they acknowledged their actions in some way, but instead, I feel like hollywood demonizes this type of "conformity", BUT THEN ALL OF THEIR ACTORS LOOK LIKE THESE RACIALLY AMBIGUOUS TRAINWRECKS *cough jumping the broom cough*?? WHAT IS THAT EVEN TELLING THAT YOUNG GIRL WHOSE SKIN IS DARKER THAN THE NIGHT, WITH HAIR COILS TIGHTER THAN STEEL WOOL?!??!??!!? 

oh that's right: HOW HYPOCRITICAL ironic <____<

I guess I feel like black culture is taking a turn I don't like :C but now when I read what I just wrote and think of how I straighten my hair all the time, I feel pretty "ironic" too.
